Equations
"I wish to approach truth as closely as is possible, and therefore I abstract everything until I arrive at the fundamental quality of objects."
"Abstract art is not the creation of another reality, but the true vision of reality"
-- Piet Mondrian.
The world is a complicated and sometime overwhelming place. The excess of details baffles and confuses, and we stand bewildered at all of the noise encompassing reality, instead of focusing on its essence.
“Equations” is my attempt at eliminating the minor distractions out of the visual-environmental wealth and exposing the underlying building blocks of reality – The shapes, forms and colors surrounding us. This is my way of showing that all objects are created from the same basic elements. Whether its water, trees and mountains, or buildings and plowed fields, they all maintain an undeniable underlying connection, which is clearly revealed once the noise surrounding them is pealed off.
